Slow Burn

Under a blanket of summer wild fire smoke, the city has an unsettling, cinematic quality to it.

It feels a bit like you’ve suddenly been transported into a horror movie. Not a conventional one. Maybe something A24 would release. The heat is hotter. The air is dryer. Everything is bathed in this perpetual smoke-twilight. It’s beautiful. And it’s uncanny.
